About You:
They're looking for a Product Manager to lead one of their Investment Product Teams. You'll pair closely with colleagues from Engineering, Design, and Data and be responsible for continually driving key business outcomes for your product. In addition, you'll collaborate with multiple stakeholders and SMEs from across the business including, Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Legal and Operations.
Role Responsibilities:
Work with the Product Lead to define the product vision, strategy, and objectives in line with wider business goals.
Manage the roadmap and backlog: effectively prioritise opportunities from a range of inputs, understand and prioritise this work so your team is always working on the most impactful initiative.
Translate these problems/opportunities into tangible customer problems, through research and regular interaction with customers; define and frame those problems for the team
Work directly with your team daily to identify innovative solutions to solve these problems
Scope these solutions to their smallest coherent state to deliver to customers as early as you can
Ensure that the product has the most chance of success by addressing the key product risks early, value, usability, feasibility, and viability.
Constantly evaluate if your solutions have solved the customer problem and delivered on the business opportunity through quantitative and qualitative measures.
Lead and motivate a team of people to do their best work
Experience and Skills:
3+ years' experience in a Product Manager role
Experience working in a cross-functional product team with design and engineering experts
Technically minded and have experience managing software products and navigating difficult technical trade-offs
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
Experience of using both quantitative and qualitative inputs to make informed product decisions and deliver meaningful insights
Entrepreneurial and self-driven. You don't need direction.
What would make you stand out:
Knowledge of financial services, Banking, or FinTech.
