NxGen Recruit are currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Manager for a leading and rapidly expanding UK holiday provider with exclusive parks across the UK.

They are looking to continue this growth and now looking for an Infrastructure Manager to join their growing internal IT Team.

As Infrastructure Manager your main responsibilities will include:

Lead the Infrastructure Implementation and delivery ensuring that the underlining network, infrastructure and its associated technology operate efficiently and perform within agreed targets

Work with and manage 3rd party suppliers

Lead on infrastructure projects including managing a 3rd party supplier to deliver a £7.5m fibre connectivity project across their sites.

Managed the backup and recovery process

Assisting the IT Director with long term strategic plans

Management and resolution of infrastructure incidents

Underpin IT Security controls with systems and controls.   

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

Technical background in Server and Network technologies such as Windows Server, Virtualisation, O365, Active Directory, LAN / WAN Networking, SANs, Backup , etc

Leadership experience either direct line management or matrix resource management

Working with and managing 3rd party suppliers

Leading and project managing infrastructure focused projects

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills being able to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Any past experience in ITIL or ISO 27001 would advantageous but not essential.   

In return the client is offering a competitive salary of up to £60,000 plus company benefits including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, modern working environment, and highly discounted UK holidays.

This role will be a hybrid working role including 3 days in the office in Hemel Hempstead and 2 days working from home
