Graduate Data Analyst

Are you a graduate looking to start a career in data analytics?

At Intrum UK we have an opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Analytics team.  You will provide dedicated analytical resource to one of our clients who has outsourced their early arrears collections to Intrum. 

Your role will cover a wide range of data activities such as creating dashboards and reports, analyzing operational performance, automating business processes and performing operational analytics using machine leaning algorithms and other analytical techniques.

As a Data Analyst your key responsibilities include the following:

Creating dynamic dashboards by extracting raw data and converting it into easy to understand tables and graphs.

Performing bespoke data manipulation and extracts as required by stakeholders across the business as well as the client

Designing champion challenge’s or other trials to test improvements on our operational processes, and deliver the analysis in a monthly forum.

Automate the production of reports, dashboards and other manual tasks

Analyse data obtained from third parties to identify any value or improve business processes.

Use a variety of machine learning algorithms to build scorecards and design segmentation to improve and optimise the efficiency of operational strategies.

Work with Operational stakeholders and the client to understand and delivery their data and analytical needs.

Perform desk research to find new R packages that will help solve problems, or improve processes.

About you

As the successful candidate you will have a numerate degree with a strong statistical content preferred, or other degree relevant to this role.  Ideally, you will have working knowledge of R or other coding experience.
