We have an exciting opportunity for a bright, proactive customer focused Field Service Engineer to fit into the existing team to provide effective 1st line on site fault resolution and service requests to our predominantly emergency service customer base within the East Midlands region. We work for the emergency services and almost anyone with the need for secure communications such as Fire, Police, Ambulance, Ministry of Justice, British transport Police, Highways England, Civil nuclear and Urenco UK. This is a home-based role.
Purpose of the role
The primary focus of the role is to provide an effective response to requests for service, Incident and Problem management activities. The activities will be primarily based on customer sites in the Southwest regions
Who we are looking for:
Someone with previous Field Service experience so they understand the role would be ideal but not essential.
Willing to drive as this makes up a large amount of time within the role
Able to approach any situation with a logical methodical manner
IT literate with an IT background for Windows in various forms:
Desktop – Windows 10 and 7
Server – 2016, 2019
SQL (not essential but would be great)
Antivirus – Symantec experience
Networking – Cisco literate or qualified (not essential but would be great)
Monday- Friday: 09:00 - 17:00
Driving license is a must. Fully-expensed company car.
