Remote / Homebased. An exciting opportunity for a technical subject matter expert with extensive knowledge of digital healthcare, in particular systems and software for the NHS. You will provide technical expertise to the Sales Support team of a very successful software company; this involve assisting business development and marketing. It is expected that you will have well-honed communication skills and experience of operating in a client facing capacity.
As Technical Solution Specialist you will be involved in maintaining the demonstration environments, supporting the development of highly professional solution demonstrations and presentations and interpreting and crafting responses to customer requirements. In addition you will be involved in working as part of the wider sales team, building early relationships with potential clients, assessing their needs, and managing effective communication, both externally and internally.
Your expertise and knowledge will assist with developing and maintaining the company's core applications.
Key responsibilities of the Technical Solution Specialist:
* In conjunction with Release, Support, Technical, Deployment and Quality Assurance (QA) personnel, ensure updates to and the maintenance of the demonstration environment
* Manage and maintain the system configuration within the demonstration environment
* Test software to be used for demonstrations
* Track the progress of software developments needed for successful demonstration of requirements
* Work as part of the team involved with client engagement activities
* Prepare demonstration materials including data, application configuration, documentation
* Attend and support rehearsals to ensure the demonstration delivery is professional and presents a strong, compelling sales narrative
* Review and assess client requirement
* Support the creation of presentations and video materials for sales and marketing activities
* Provide product and ‘sales pitch’ expertise for a variety of sales and marketing events
* Participate in deployment support activities from time to time
Key criteria for the Technical Solution Specialist:
* Solid career background in the NHS or private healthcare
* Understand the use of both clinical and administrative functionality in patient care workflows and their associated information requirements
* Experience of digital transformation within UK healthcare
* Ability to cope under pressure; a successful and proven track record in working to tight deadlines in a busy challenging environment
* Preparation of product demonstrations and general presentations
* Ability to influence, organise, and plan
