Position Overview:

Reporting to the Global Compute Services Manager the "Global Hybrid Cloud Services Lead" will be responsible for applying his technical knowledge and providing leadership of a motivated global team of Hybrid Services Support. As part of the team, you are empowered to lead by example in support of critical systems, ensuring service stability and availability, while delivering efficiency, and seeking optimization via automation and/or orchestration.

Your analytical systematic approach toward qualitative and quantitative data-driven decision-making will lead toward successful delivery against strategy. This is a technical leadership role requiring, in-depth technical competencies, strength in service recovery, root cause analysis and continual service improvement is greatly valued in our dynamic enterprise environment.

This role works closely with all internal business teams across all Finning regions, contractors and vendors to successfully provide technology services and adhere to established SLA's and policies

Job Description:

Service Management and Service Delivery (70%)

Manage Global Hybrid Cloud services to meet business needs.

Manage ITIL process of the Service Operation (Event, Incident, Request fulfillment, Problems) within ITSM and monitoring system for all Hybrid Cloud tickets related.

Deploy and maintain infrastructure service catalog, Service Level measures and Service reporting in alignment with Global Cloud Services.

Supervise the technical and maintenance service over the Hybrid Cloud infrastructure (Virtual as well as physical, off-prem and on-prem)

Maintain configuration management database of Global Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, vendor contracts and the associated refresh cycles.

Collaborate with the Security team to meet organizational security requirements in the context of security policies, security tools and secure operations within the Hybrid Cloud Services.

Collaborate with Global Architects for solution framework and deployment planning.

Support PMO process for projects.Service Improvements (20%)

Continues service improvement and cost optimization by improving service delivery methodology, automation and better governance.

Design and implement process documentation and workflows

Building standards for Hybrid Cloud Services

Creating an innovative and thriving work culture at the centre of service delivery

Regular review of existing documentation and update as required.Building relationships (10%)

Work with internal teams for service optimization in their Hybrid Cloud requirements

Broad vendor SME relationship
