Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Leading Managed Service Provider, who are looking to recruit an experienced 2nd Line Technical Support Analyst to join their team based in the Brighton area.
PAY RATE: Up to £30k (dependant on exp)
WORK TYPE: Permanent
WORK PATTERN: Full Time
Working as part of a team you will join a fast-growing busy IT Company that provide technical support services to SMEs throughout the UK on IT and telecoms products and services. In this role, you will respond to phone calls and tickets covering the installations and maintenance of the company’s growing client base, as well as work on IT projects.
The duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
Providing technical advice and practical assistance to our clients and end users.
Performing System administration and maintenance.
Responding to phone calls & tickets covering installation
Project activity including making technical recommendations in the scoping of IT projects for clients
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:
Microsoft 365 (incl licencing, setup & migration)
Microsoft Operating Systems (Desktop & Server (Apply online only))
VMWare Esxi/VCentre Server
Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc
VPNs, Router & Firewalls
Anti-Virus platforms such as Trend Micro
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to solve problems under pressure, prioritising effectively
Friendly & responsive telephone manner
