Senior Software Developer

Salary €60,000 - €75,000 - Java, Spring/Springboot, JavaScript, React, SQL.

Piper Maddox is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a business who operate in the heart of the Renewable Energy Sector, where they develop software applications and tools to calculate and avoid Greenhouse gases. This is done by actively protecting the climate by compensating Co2 emissions with the use of renewable energies.

You will be working with Java on frameworks like Kotlin and Spring to develop a software application which calculate levels Co2 being released by clients. Working with the digitalization team across worldwide climate protection projects, this ultimately supporting sustainable development in developing countries by transferring technology and combating poverty.

The Role:

*This position will fit a hands-on Backend developer wishing to advance their career in a rapidly changing area with a purpose

oWhat we need:

oKnowledge of multiple Programming languages:

Java

Kotlin or Spring

Knowledge in AWS & microservice infrastructure (Lambda, Kubernetes etc.)

relational databases (Postgres),

test automation (JUnit, cypress),

Webservices (REST)

HTML, CSS, Javascript and React would be a real plus.

*Applications are based on Kotlin (SpringBoot, Hibernate, React).

Your background:

*3+ years of hands-on experience with Java

*1/2 years' experience working with Frameworks such as Spring/Springboot

*React experience is a positive

In return, you will receive a competitive base salary from €60,000 - €75,000, depending on experience.
