Super job with an independent ERP and accounting software supplier, who have tons of loyal customers, a full order book and offer a real opportunity to grow, learn a new cloud ERP product, and progress into implementation and pre-sales. They will pay up to £45k with a car allowance and will mentor and coach you into a fully fledged consultancy role.
It's a home-based position, with one day a month in the office, and some visits to client sites as you progress into consulting, or you can be office based, or you can mix them up - they are totally flexible and leave it to you to work the way you want to. The company is around 50 people, and as a business, they sell accounting, cloud ERP software systems, and Payroll & CRM, to SME's in the North of England, as well as all the necessary tech, so they can supply a client with a complete service.
They need an additional Application Support Consultant, who wants to progress into full blown implementation and consultancy, or you may already be doing implementation, and looking to move to a state-of-the-art SaaS ERP solution with full cloud functionality.
Knowledge of the accounting aspects of ERP is essential, and an understanding of SQL would be very beneficial. So you will have a background supporting solutions such as Access Dimensions, SAP Business One, Dynamics NAV / BC, Infor, Exact Software, Sage 200, Kerridge K8, Greentree, Pegasus Opera, Sage 50, Intact IQ, Iris Exchequer, Coda, Xero, PS Financials, SAP ByD, Syspro, JDE, Syteline, Maconomy, SunSystems, Dynamics AX, Agresso or anything similar.
Most importantly, you have a keen desire to grow, develop your skills and learn. The role will encompass application support, moving into helping with pre-sales and demos, taking requirements, then learning the implementation side, customer training and eventually into project management.
It goes without saying, that you need to be a superb communicator, you get on with people at all levels, your problem-solving skills are excellent, you can troubleshoot, and debug and you are able to explain things in non-technical terms to clients when they are in a panic. You are interested in business processes, passionate about ERP and helping the customer get the best out of their software.
This really is a brilliant job for someone who is bright, articulate, and ambitious and wants to progress their career into implementation, pre-sales, and project management. Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing for details or to apply
