Data Engineer

Our client is a finance technology company with an exciting opportunity for a Data Engineer to join their brand-new data business within their main organisation.

In this challenging yet important role, you'll be part of a small team whose mission is to maximise the value and promise of data and make it universally available. You'll work closely with architects, analysts and other key stakeholders to design, implement and integrate data pipelines from a variety of data sources, frequencies and latencies to build a data lake and warehouse.

* Experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and Snowflake, along with SQL, Python and/or R

* Experience in data analysis, modelling, engineering, and development processes

* Experience in putting pipelines into production

* Experience of deploying data solutions and cloud infrastructure via CI/CD pipelines

* Experience of conducting analytics with large structured and unstructured data sets

* Experience of using data visualization tools e.g. Tableau
