Support Analyst, Service Desk, 1st / 2nd line, Desktop Support
If you are a keen, enthusiastic and personable Support Analyst or Service Desk Analyst looking for a varied role within a dynamic SME environment, then this is a newly-created opportunity to join a highly-successful, healthcare-focused charity.
Whilst the position is offered on a predominantly remote basis, you will need to be willing and able to travel to the Oxford office as and when required, but not normally more than once a fortnight.
The Role
In a highly-varied and responsible role, the Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst will provide a true support service to approximately 50 users, working both onsite in a state of the art facility on one of Oxford's leading business parks, and remotely. With the support of an outsourced support company, the Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst will be the first port of call for all users, covering 1st and 2nd line issues – predominantly desktop – whilst also setting up new users, and building and configuring both PCs and laptops, as well as getting involved in some interesting and varied project work.
This position would suit an energetic, enthusiastic, technically curious Support Analyst / Service Desk Analyst, with strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills, coupled with a “can-do” attitude!
What do I need?
Whilst enthusiasm and the ability to provide a highly-personable service are key, my client operates a predominantly Microsoft environment, so some experience/awareness of some of the following would be great:
1st and 2nd line Service Desk / Desktop Support experience
Microsoft 365, Windows 10 and 11
Active Directory – new user creation / account administration, etc.
