In order to deliver the most effective security monitoring system, Synchro is seeking a Software Developer to join a dynamic, expanding software team for a global company in Swansea. In addition, they are working to evolve their software by enhancing the organisation's physical security events, thereby creating a user-friendly and straightforward platform.
You will attain strong leadership and communication skills as a Software Developer, alongside being responsible for the following:
Development of solutions under some guidance of team / senior staff based on provided user stories.
Meet the company's development standards.
Contain appropriate automated testing.
Meet acceptance criteria (defined in user story).
Must be able to produce technical documentation.
Active participation in team meetings.
Should be able to understand technical documentation to a reasonable standard.
Should be able to identify and take steps towards addressing gaps in own knowledge.
Furthermore, the company has amassed an enviable clientele, which includes notable names in global technology and automotive from Silicon Valley, important providers of vital infrastructure, Fortune 500 companies, and some of the largest cities and counties in the United States.
Essential skills required:
Computer science or equivalent experience.
2+ years commercial development experience.
Basic DBS Check Skills we need.
Source Control (GIT/TFS/Other).
Not essential skills, but highly valued skillsets:
ROLE: Software Developer
LOCATION: Swansea, Wales (1 day in the office, remote working)
SALARY: up to £30,000
