EIS are looking for Technical Architects to join their team where you will be providing support to other architects in putting forward designs as solutions to technology challenges.

You will work closely with development scrum teams, business partners and IT colleagues to design appropriate solutions that ensure operational delivery and fit with EIS strategic end-to-end functional design.

Experience

• Articulating technical viewpoints to technical and non-technical colleagues, senior management and business partners.

• Governing high and low-level designs with full lifecycle management, from requirements management to supporting the operations teams with service introduction;

• Effective communication with business partners;

• Enterprise and software architecture, encompassing data, application and technology incl. security;

• Application integration incl. SOA, BPM, APIs, Web Services (SOAP/RESTful), Micro Services, Containerization; and

• Public cloud technologies.

Knowledge

• Software development and architecture;

• Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google or Hybrid) based architecture designs and implementations;

• Agile methodologies and principles;

• ITIL;

• Designing and implementing Java/JEE and/or .NET based applications incl. JavaScript based UI frameworks; and

• Using XML, XSD, JSON and other data payload formats
