Service Desk Analyst
Grafton Recruitment are looking to recruit a Service Desk Analyst to join an international supplier of automotive machinery.
As part of their long-term commitment to quality and continued growth, they are looking to recruit an additional Service Desk Analyst who will join a small but dynamic team.
As a Service Desk Analyst you will be required to:
Consult and communicate effectively, both written and verbal
Support a wide range of IT users and systems
Log all service desk tickets on the ITSM system
Manage Service Request tasks (e.g. new starter requests)
Provision of all IT equipment i.e., laptops, desktop, printers and peripherals
An understanding of client confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
Able to excel in a fast changing, priority shifting environment
The ideal Service Desk Analyst:
Experience in supporting MS OS and application software
Proven troubleshooting skills
Experience administrating Active Directory
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7 & XP & 10, MS Office 365
Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
Good understanding of networking. Inc. TCP/IP DHCP, DNS, etc.
Mobile Device Management (Apple iPhone devices)
Backup software (preferably Symantec NetBackup).
Excellent customer service skills
Minimum GCSE level 'C' or above in English, Maths, Science and InformationTechnology
ITIL Qualification is desirable
Lotus Notes/Domino Server exposure
Citrix XenApp awareness
Duration Perm/Full Time
