A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Information Analyst to join the information services team of a local acute NHS Trust. The successful applicant will manage specialist teams of multi skilled information professionals committed to the service delivery and continual improvement of fit for purpose customer focused information services.
Responsible and accountable for the successful provision of Clinical Directorate and organisation wide comprehensive data and information reporting systems.
Direct and change perspectives on information collection and analysis at all levels across the organisation, promoting the use of high-quality information to inform effective decision-making.
Responsible for the successful delivery of Trust wide core information processes and services required by the organisation
Manage specialist teams of multi skilled information professionals responsible and accountable for the delivery of an information service to the organisation.
Ensure effective provision and communication of highly complex statistical information and analysis through comprehensive written reports and graphical presentation to senior operational, managerial, and clinical staff within the organisation.
Interpret and communicate highly complex statistical information and analysis within the organisation, resolving associated problems and providing highly developed expert specialist leadership and direction.
Create and promote a new information culture through the establishment and development of new ways of working, delivering lasting relationships by working collaboratively and in partnership with the Clinical Directorates.
Enhance productive working relationships with internal directorates and external organisations.
Work with Clinical Leads within the Trust to increase clinical engagement in the performance and information agendas.
Provide information and analytical support to the Trust Board and Executive Director team as required.
Provide expert specialist support and advice on effective data and statistics use to support all aspects of care, medium and long term service planning, organisation wide policy-making and accountability.
Responsible and accountable for the service delivery and continual improvement of a fit for purpose information service with a strong customer focus.
Analyse highly complex statistical and analytical data, and provide both verbal and written synopsis highlighting associated issues and relevant solutions.
Lead and provide expert specialist knowledge and advice for determining the medium and long term demand and capacity requirements of the organisation, informing future service planning and development, and strategic direction.
Review the use of analytical tools ensuring available software is fully utilised to support performance reporting. Appraise new analytical tools and software ensuring the organisation is aware of reporting developments.
Complex manipulation of large data files including clinical datasets for national submission and contractual compliance.
Design, develop and implement data validation and quality assurance systems and methodologies, ensuring the integrity of data systems and all reporting produced by the service.
Actively contribute to Trust strategies and plans. Develop and implement appropriate strategy and policy ensuring organisation wide compliance. Interpret and implement appropriate national strategy and policy across the organisation.
Design, develop and deliver comprehensive formal presentations to large groups.
Promote and embed a culture of continuous quality and service improvement.
Manage information staff including recruitment, appraisal, continuing professional development and disciplinary actions.
This is a work from home role, though occasional site attendance may be required but this should be restricted to a few days a month. Hours of work are 37.5 hours a week.
