Senior IT Support Engineer 1st,2nd 3rd Line – Fleet /Hybrid - £45,000 + Bonus

Based on 3 days in the fleet office with 2 days from home we are seeking a Senior IT Support Engineer to provide onsite support to internal users of a Technology lead software business. Managing a variety of tasks/queries taken through phone calls, emails, and face to face you will be the main on-site point of contact for all users across the UK offices providing exceptional BAU and project related support.
You will be the first point of contact and will deal with 1st, 2nd & 3rd Line queries as well as more complex issues and project related activities when required with the support of an experienced international team.
You will take accountability and proactively identify, prioritise, register, and categorise incidents. Be responsible for Investigating causes of incidents and seek resolution through root cause analysis, and the engagement of third parties/external providers and an intercompany remote based infrastructure team.
Technical Skills required
* Windows Server 2016/2019
* MS Azure Admin (Advantageous)
* Office 365
* Windows 10/11 (IOS and Mac OSX advantageous)
* Active Directory / Azure AD. Adding/Deleting users assigning OU’s and access rights
* MS Teams – Remote logon/ Support etc
* Network connectivity, troubleshooting and support, WiFi, basic Routing, Switching
* Ability to deliver project related work
* Experience using call logging system
Although this is the sole person providing Internal IT Support this is a technology lead business with broader Sys Admin, Infrastructure and DevOps teams that work in client facing capacity and as such there is opportunity for progression within the business.
Excellent opportunity for someone who is supporting a smaller user base at the moment but looking for further technology exposure in the cloud space
