The hiring Manager isn’t too concerned which languages you’ve used in the past, just that you have a good grounding in computer science fundamentals, a significant backend development project under your belt (home, academic or commercial) and that you are willing to work in C#.Net going forward.  Happy to consider a recent Graduate Software Engineer with C#.

The company develop an IoT product which has achieved mass market success in the UK and Europe with plans to expand to the US market. 

This role will largely involve developing 2 products, a .Net based application used by customers to manage their highly distributed IoT devices and an ecommerce platform where clients can buy new hardware and software.

They employ 130 people across the business, you’ll work in a small team of 4 but as part of a much larger engineering team.

Very flexible around working from home but you’ll need to live in reach of the office in Watford.

Junior C# Software Developer essential requirements:

Computer Science based qualification

Back-end programming experience in any of C#, Python, PHP, Java, C++

Happy to work in C#.net 

Junior C# Software Developer desirable skills or things you might learn:

PHP – they are moving some systems from PHP to .Net

Microservices, distributed systems

MySQL, InfluxDB, Redis

Testing frameworks

AWS, Lambda, Google Cloud, Google IoT, Azure

AMQP, MQTT, Kafka or RabbitMQ

Docker, Docker swarm, Kubernetes
