Senior Automation Tester

I'm looking for a Technical Tester to work in a Fintech, based in Bristol but fully remote, if need be. What's especially good is that they will offer you the autonomy to invoke the techniques and approaches that you prefer, while providing the support to allow you to develop your own skillset further. Essentially you would be the first full-on Automation Tester in the Team, so it's an opportunity to build the Automation side of the function from scratch, handle the proof of concept, and guide the existing test team (also remote).

The idea is to enter at Senior Level and help the Head of Development establish an Automation Practice, and then to step into a Lead/Head of role down the line and shape the Test Team into an effective and creative QA force.

Where?: We are a Bristol-based Software house but we are open to remote working, so long as you live within reasonable commute of our office.

Technical requirements:

Strong communication skills

Strong C# and Selenium scripting abilities

Postman or RestSharp for API (Mostly REST but a little HTTP)

Experience with Azure DevOps would be ideal

A desire to progress to position of leadership down the line
