Murray McIntosh are searching for a C# Software Developer to work for a key client of ours on a permanent basis as detailed below:

Role summary:

The successful candidate will play a key role in the design, development, maintenance and future generations of our award-winning security and surveillance centric software platforms.

Principal Accountabilities:

Work in an Agile team to translate functional requirements into technical solutions

Write software of a high standard to deploy into cloud based and closed networks, meeting our project and product requirements

Develop software in line with software development standards and procedures.

Communicating new product and continuous improvement ideas/opportunities to the team.

Work with stakeholders to ensure understanding of specifications.

Participate in unit, system and acceptance testing by writing tests and supporting the test team

Support other departments (Hardware, Marketing, Sales, Support) when required.C# Programming Skills Set

Significant Programming Experience with C#

Strong ASP.Net Core skills, specifically working with Web API

Familiarity of RESTful fundamentals and principles

Experienced with EF Core

Deep knowledge of Angular practices and commonly used modules based on extensive work experienceCloud Development Skills Set:

Familiar with DDD (Domain Driven Design) principles and practices

Microservices

Docker

Kubernetes

Experience with cloud platforms and services

Azure Familiarity with Azure DevOps build and deployment pipelines is a bonusQualifications & Experience:

Technical degree (or equivalent industry experience) - graduate or graduate calibre

4 or more years' experience developing applications/solutions.

Desirable: A track record of community participation in your field of expertise (meet-ups, talks, podcasts, etc.)
