A successful independent business based in Oldham are looking for a Senior IT Support Analyst to join their team. An employer of 230 people, our client is looking to strengthen their small yet efficient IT team with this appointment as it is about to embark on a major systems refresh project.
Based on-site in Oldham, this is a permanent position and the working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30pm with some weekend out-of-hours cover required on a rota basis.
Role Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure in Virtual and Microsoft Servers.
Liaise with third party suppliers and maintain relationships.
Assist in ongoing and new IT projects.
Provide end-user support (1st, 2nd and 3rd line support).
Complete system maintenance and setup.
Update technical documentation as required.
Mentored junior members of the IT team.
Help users to understand technical issues and communicate technical information effectively and thoroughly.
Skills/Experience should include:
Experience supporting Microsoft Server 2012 onwards
Experience of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy.
Microsoft 365 administration
Windows Operating Systems
Knowledge of networking
Full UK driving license and own car
Excellent communication skills.
