Hybrid - Split between work from home and onsite in Chippenham ,Wiltshire.

We have been retained as a trusted recruitment partner to an established and renowned software solutions and managed services provider to the emergency service industry . Who are currently hiring for an Application Support Engineer to join their growing team working on a hybrid basis - split between Chippenham and home (ie normally 2-3 days onsite working)

Candidates must be eligible to undergo SC Clearance ( 5 years continuous in the year with no long trips overseas to gain this level of clearance and complete security checks)

Essential Skills:

*SQL Server

*Virtualisation

*Windows Server 2003 /12 /16 +

*Windows 10

Desirable Skills

*Some knowledge of C, C++ or Visual C++.

*Experience of bespoke application support.

*Configuring PCs, installation and configuration of software.

*An understanding of Lan/Wan Hardware and Architecture.

*An understanding of TCP/IP and Network protocols.

*Windows and networking.

*ADSL connectivity.

*Remote Access Service (RAS) or Windows (RDP) .

*Use of Call Management Software.

Salary: £35k + benefits
