The role 

My client, an innovative Med-tech organisation are seeking a bright and talented Infosec Analyst / Information Security Analyst to join their team on a hybrid working basis, visiting the Cambridge office. The successful candidate will operate in a standalone position, but work within a small technical team, in-order to support in areas of information security, such as:

Creation and development of policies and procedures

Creation and development of disaster recovery plans

Upkeep and support of the internal QMS

Further to this, the Infosec Analyst / Information Security Analyst will provide adhoc support to the onboarding process of new employees and as well as provide support around access and permissions as required.

Joining this team as the Infosec Analyst / Information Security Analyst will require a resilient can-do attitude, for someone keen to make a real difference day-to day. You will be someone who doesn’t shy away from a challenge but embraces it instead, and as well as having these softer skills, the successful Infosec Analyst / Information Security Analyst will ideally have: 

Prior commercial experience as an Information Security Analyst / Infosec

Prior experience working with a QMS (Quality Management System)

Experience developing security Policies & procedures and disaster recovery plans

Experience of general IT support 

Prior experience / understanding of networking and experience within a MedTech organisation or the NHS is also highly desirable but not essential
