Visa Inc. is expanding our services and products both organically as well as through acquisitions. The Corporate Technology Mergers and Acquisitions (MA) Integration Management Office (IMO) Team is looking to hire an experienced and self-motivated technology leader with a unique balance of technical depth and business acumen to lead post-merger acquisition integrations. This mid-level, individual contributor role reports to the Senior Director of Corporate IT MA IMO and will be a part of a highly matrixed global team providing strategic and tactical leadership to achieve post-merger integration goals. Our team works closely with project managers, architects, and engineers within our organization, as well as with peer technology organizations such as Cybersecurity, Operations and Infrastructure and Product Development, as well as business functional teams like Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Risk to capture technology requirements, define target operating models and integration roadmaps. Change is constant in this role and being flexible is key.
In line with the Visa Leadership Principles, you will Lead by Example and own development and maintenance of dashboards based on requirement gathered to meet the reporting needs of the overarching Corporate Technology MA Integration Portfolio. You will Enable and Inspire the team by partnering across technology and business to deliver a consistent way of reporting. You will Excel with Partners by recognizing the pain points and providing streamlined and repeatable way to access dashboards to drive best in-class reporting and a positive end-user experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development, have proven ability to build relationships and be action and results oriented.
Possesses specialized depth and breadth of expertise in Tableau dashboard development
Possess good analytical, problem-solving abilities and be flexible to learn new things
Work with business analyst to understand the process, requirements, success criteria
Build dashboards for the MA Integration projects roadmap, Software Rationalization, and Project Financials
Understand the integration health and key performance metrics for the acquired companies
Contribute to Corporate Technology dashboard development efforts (and workshops) with strong organizational and communication skills, and ensuring clear accountability
Apply developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex technology issues
Contribute to the development of KPIs, help monitor the performance through dashboards
Be able to deep dive regularly into integration metrics and technical details to identify root cause of issues, identify opportunities and follow through with action-oriented goals and measures
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications: • 8 years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
Preferred Qualifications: • 8-6 years of work experience in information technology with extensive knowledge of Tableau • 5 years of progressive experience with increasing responsibility in Information Technology • Strong written and spoken communication • Operate with a customer mindset • Requires exposure to multiple diverse technologies and processing environments • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex organization where the ability to partner with diverse stakeholders is critical to brokering solutions that are in the best interest of Visa as a whole • Working knowledge of corporate productivity technologies such as any of the following: Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), open-source development tools and processes, corporate network concepts
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
Travel Requirements: Incumbent is not expected to travel
Working Hours: Incumbent is expected to work primarily during standard business hours but may occasionally need to adjust schedule to accommodate the time zones of the acquired entity and/or team members located in another regional office.
