Position: Cloud Engineer
Salary: Up to £80,000
Office Location: Blackburn

The Role: At exciting new position has now been created for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our industry leading client as they continue to design and develop industry leading security products that are sold and managed around the globe, they now require a Cloud Engineer to join the engineering team who will be tasked with accelerating their exciting new range of cloud connected products.
Whilst their office is in Blackburn they are happy for this role to be taken on a flexible remote working basis with travel to the office only once or twice a fortnight. They are looking for a Cloud Engineer who has solid skills with a host of cloud related technologies (AWS, Node JS, Python, MQTT, Containers etc) who can work closely within an engineering team with a focus on the cloud aspects of their products. Their core products include a range of security and alert systems made up of electronics and embedded software components, so any experience in a similar product environment is desirable.
This role will suit a technical enthusiast who is keen to play a big part in the development of a new range of software solutions and is keen to use modern technologies and processes. The role will involve:
Architecting future proof, scalable Cloud platform to support new and existing functionality.
Collaborating with the firmware development team to deliver seamless integration.
Working with the wider team to implement new functionality and resolve issues.
Advising on concept designs and converting into technical requirements.
Interfacing between product management/marketing and the development team.Skills and Experience Required:
Node JS, Java or SQL
Network Comms - HTTP PST/GET, MQTT etc
AWSDesirable Skill and Experience:
Scalable API design
IoT connected devices
