ServiceNow is at heart of DWP's Digital estate. As our ServiceNow System Administrator you will deal with the day-to-day management and administration of all DWP ServiceNow instances together with our Amazon Web Voice capability and supporting infrastructure.
This will include providing technical and operational support that safeguards the live service.
Day to day you will:
Implement and maintain ServiceNow features/applications to meet strategic plans and roadmaps.
Deal with and take decisions on day-to-day support of services/solutions relating to own work area and to those they manage.
Provide technical support and assistance to delivery teams.
Provide 3rd line support for incidents, problems and change, ensuring that the right actions are taken to investigate, resolve and anticipate problems.
Administrate and support the infrastructure solutions.
Monitor the infrastructure services including alerts, and taking appropriate action where required.
What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?
Experience of managing and operating a ServiceNow environment including the integration of ServiceNow Platform with other Technologies.
Experience in operations of ServiceNow application sets Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management and Configuration Management.
Experience of managing releases using the ServiceNow related Software Delivery Lifecycle.
The ability to support the development of team members to assist in the provision of a first-class service, maintaining the required levels of expertise, provision of capability to other Government departments as necessary.
Experience of effectively communicating at different levels, across support and engineering, business users, architecture and 3rd party suppliers.
ServiceNow Certified Administrator, Developer, Implementation Specialist or equivalent experience / skills. Details. Wages. Perks.
