As a ServiceNow Developer, you will serve as a key contributor to a fast paced team that is driven to improve the HR Service Delivery platform. This role will require teamwork across HR, vendors, and technology teams to develop new automated workflows. In this role you will develop, and maintain the Service Now for HR environment end to end.
Duties and responsibilities:
Configuration and improvements on the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform including Case Management, Employee Service Center, Mobile and Web Onboarding
Assists Scrum Master / Business Analyst / Product Manager in estimating level of effort
Participate in daily standups to report status, delays and risks to scrum master / team leads / management
Translates high level / complex business requirements into technical solutions and works them to completion
Understand business user stories / requirements in order to provide the technical design and solution for product enhancements / new features.
Collaborate with many teams and collaborators locally and remote to efficiently and effectively deliver product enhancements, new features, and defect fixes
Provide updated documentation of all product work including but not limited to, design documentation, technical operations / support documentation, and release notes
Support existing and build new interfaces and have a good understanding of available integrations with 3rd party tools
Ensure all work adheres to the processes, policies and standard methodologies for development
Maintain updated knowledge of product capabilities to ensure we are best applying the platform with minimal customization
Addresses support issues, working with members of the team and vendors, in support of application performance tuning and fixing
Ensure the system maintains compliance with policies and procedures, including GLBA, SOX, PCI, and data retention
1- 2 years of development experience in the SNOW platform
With ideally 1-year experience with the HR module
HR Fundamentals or Implementation Certification
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to talk to business to understand requirements, provide options and set right expectations on delivery
LEAN or Six Sigma is a plus to assess HR processes for efficiency
