We are looking for an IT Asset Management Analyst to join our IT Operations Management department. This is an important role, and the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining data on IT assets within the business throughout their full lifecycle. They will work with the ITAM Lead, CMDB Lead and IT Asset & Configuration Manager, as part of our dedicated IT Asset Management team (ITAM). The postholder will contribute to the smooth running of our ITAM function by providing administrative, analytical, and inventory support.
The ITAM Analyst will also help maintain accuracy of the IT Asset Database (currently Certero) and the CMDb to ensure the integrity of the data within is kept to a high standard. This information includes details of where assets are located, how those assets have been configured, their current state and the relationships between Configuration Items.
What are we looking for?
You must have previous demonstrable experience working in a similar role within IT. Strong Excel Skills are a must, as you will spend lots of time manipulating data in Excel so you must be comfortable producing formulas such as VLOOKUP's.
We are looking for a candidate with strong analytical skills, who can make sense of complex and logical problems quickly. They will be a good written communicator, as this role will involve managing the team Mailbox.
You will be familiar with ITIL processes, with an ITIL qualification being a distinct advantage.
