IT Support Officer - £24,000 - £28,000 per annum (Salaries vary depending on experiences)
Hours – 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What You’ll Be Doing:
Overall job responsibility :
The IT Support Officer will have a key role in ensuring the IT hardware processes are effectively managed to support all areas of its work. Response is implementing new hardware processes and upgrading existing ones to improve efficiency and to support improved productivity. This hardware will be used organisation-wide so the postholder will work closely with all teams to ensure a collaborative approach.
Some of the core duties include:
Provide the main integration between our outsourced IT Provider and Response, building good relationships, working proactively and improving customer satisfaction through identification of trends, and problem solving alongside our outsourced IT Provider.
Highlight trends to the outsourced IT Provider Support Manager and work together to resolve discrepancies.
Updating the outsourced IT Provider on support activities that are not raised as tickets.
Deskside support to end users who require urgent assistance with hardware, Windows or Office 365 in accordance with outsourced IT Provider guidelines.
Responsibility for the allocation of hardware for new starters and updating the asset register.
Responsible for the leavers process, ensuing all allocated hardware is returned, wiped and re-used for new starters in accordance with outsourced IT Provider guidelines.
Management of mobile phone handsets, wiping and preparing devices and assisting colleagues to set them up in accordance with Data Protection and Response guidelines.
Resolving Wi-Fi and LAN issues in offices or meeting rooms with visits to services where required.
Resolving printer/scanner issues with visits to services where required.
Assisting staff to set up laptops, monitors, projectors and PCs for meetings or training sessions.
Collecting redundant PCs and laptops from Response locations, preparing them for reuse or arranging for disposal, according to agreed processes.
Maintaining and managing a small stock of pre-configured laptops and peripherals that can be deployed quickly to users with urgent need.

GCSE Qualifications or equivalent
High working and business knowledge of software packages including Windows 10 and Office 365
High working and business knowledge of android mobile devices
Installing applications and drivers
Configuration of Laptops, PCs, Windows 10 for business use.
Configuration of mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Android phones) for business use.
Methodical and high attention to detail
Have the ability to communicate complex information fluently and succinctly verbally and in writing.
