We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our busy digital solutions team. This is a pivotal role to coordinate people and processes to ensure that our business-critical projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the agreed level of quality.We are flexible on where this role be based from, either our Raunds office or our Croxley Park office in Watford 2-3 days a week.
What you will be doing:
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
Ensure that the appropriate level of governance is agreed and established at the start of each project.
Establish the most suitable methodology at the beginning of each project.
Identify all likely stakeholders and interested parties at the early stages of each project, then devise and execute a communications plan which ensures that engagement is consistent and satisfies the needs of the stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of each project.
Produce consistently high standard project plans to time, cost, and quality needs for each project.
Consistently monitor the output of the project teams against the planned activity.
Work with the Sponsor and other Senior Stakeholders at the commencement of each project to provide accurate estimates to ensure that the correct level of funding is secured and take responsibility for closely monitoring and protecting the budget to fulfil delivery.
What we need from you:
A demonstrable track-record of end to end project management ideally in a digital environment
Experience working to Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
An advanced working knowledge of MS Project is preferred in addition to strong MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
Awareness of change management methodology.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build productive relationships with key stakeholders and partners
Highly organised and able to prioritise effectively
Able to present information to all levels of stakeholders
High attention to detail and focused effort on getting things right first time
Ideally Prince 2 and / or APM Practitioner
Knowledge and use of MS Project Online is desirable though not essential.
Working experience of using Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) or similar.
Experience of budget management and exposure to financial controls is preferred.
