Prime Appointments are pleased to have partnered with a market-leading ecommerce business recruiting for an IT Support Technician with 1-2 years previous experience who can join their team based in Harlow for a salary between £26,000 and £28,000.
You could be working for a family-run company sporting over forty years of trading experience in the arts and crafts centre, promoting an excellent progression plan for all staff.
What would I do as an IT Support Technician here?
Acting as the point of contact providing first and second line support to staff members and warehouse/dispatch operations
Responding to incidents and requests logged with the helpdesk system
Troubleshooting desktop, telephony, network, printer and server issues
Installation, configuration and maintenance of software and hardware components
Supporting company wireless barcode scanners
Maintaining the asset inventory
Security patching, anti-virus and system log file checking
Creation and maintenance of up-to-date documentationThe successful candidate for this role would need to demonstrate competency with the following:
Windows and Mac Operating Systems
Administration of Microsoft Office 365
Microsoft Exchange Online
Windows Server (Apply online only)
Active Directory Administration
Networking Fundamentals such as TCP/IP/DNS/DHCP
VMWare and Virtual Servers
VoIP Telephony Support
Cybersecurity FundamentalsDesirable qualities include:
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
Knowledge of Veeam Backup and Replication
ITIL Foundation v3 Certification
Cisco CCNA Certification
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat

Please note candidates must have a UK Driving License be based within 40 minutes from Harlow, including during traffic, to efficiently provide support during emergency callouts on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays. Normal working hours are Monday-Friday from 8:30am-5pm.
