What you'll be doing:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead the analysis of business opportunities to identify the people, process and technology requirements to deliver the expected benefit.
Reporting into Change Delivery, working with a range of business & technology stakeholders to develop and implement solutions which deliver value within agreed timelines and budget.
Develop an in-depth understanding of department processes, stakeholders and the main business system functionality.
Lead on / help develop domain level business architectures and the use of simplified operating models, business processes and applications.
Inform and educate stakeholders on potential contribution by Technology and obtain agreement on the requirements / features and ensure appropriate prioritisation is applied to meet goals.
Help define the case for change and support business case production.
Investigate, analyse, review, define and document requirements.
Produce high quality deliverables by selecting and applying the most appropriate methods, tools and techniques and following agreed standards for the selected delivery methodologies.
Manage requirements for a project ensuring there is verifiable traceability between requirements, solution and testing.
Support the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring requirements are understood and met by the delivered solution including data cleansing / migration and change implementation.
Support implementation to ensure that the change is embedded and benefits realised.
Facilitate the identification and documentation of non-functional requirements
Collaborate on the design and selection of solutions within agreed architectures and standards Coordinate the creation of user scenarios with the business and support testing with the allocated users to allow the definition of UAT test scripts and business approval.
Develop / provide input to project plans, resource plans and the selection / adoption of delivery methodology e.g. waterfall, agile.
Identify resources required for programmes/projects, escalate resource shortfalls, and provide recommendations for resolution. risk, issues and dependency management
Performance manage allocated and project assigned resources, ensuring coaching, allocation, communications and talent management.
Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement in business analysis methods and tools.
What you'll need:
Experience working within change delivery
Experience supporting the full delivery lifecycle, including data cleansing/migration and change implementation
Knowledge of delivery methodology, eg waterfall and agile
A passion to improve themselves and the wider team bringing external thinking to the force
A desire to improve the efficiency of change at Direct Line Group
