They have undergone a series of acquisitions and mergers, which has enabled them to be one of the largest businesses in their field.

Due to current growth, they are keen to appoint an interim Senior Server Engineer to be based out of their Worcester offices for a 6-month contract paying a day rate between £500 to £550 per day Hybrid Working, Inside IR35.

As an experienced Senior Server Engineer, you will lead the relocation of the virtual data centre along with applications and primary data. You will work alongside in-house technical teams to input to application migration runbooks and then deliver the virtual migrations.

Senior Server Engineer - Experience & Duties

Experience of working in a data centre environment

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Experience of Microsoft Server and Virtualisation (Hyper-V)

Data Centre V2V migrations

Knowledge of Automation Technology's, PowerShell and Microsoft System Centre Orchestrator

HPe hardware, hosting and storage platforms

Veritas Backup software products

Active Directory and identify - authentication
