Job Role:  Project Manager (IT Delivery/Deployment Manager)

Location:  Dartford, DA2 6QH

Rate of Pay:  £300 per day

Swanstaff are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager for our key client, a major financial and retail technology company that specialises in the sale, manufacture and installation of self-service transaction systems (point of sale terminals).

The role is based from the client’s Dartford Office, working Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (35 hours a week), with Duty Manager out of hours responsibilities required on a rota basis

The successful applicant will be working as part of a team, for a major client account responsible for the installation of IT hardware, services and data for;

New stores (large and small).

Refresh works within any area of a store, (Customer Service Desk, Back Office, Deli counter, Shopfloor etc.)

Refresh works on checkouts (removal, additions, cladding of checkouts etc.)

Installation of all new checkouts.

Adjustment of checkout queue measuring cameras.

Additional data and installation requirements in depots and dot com centres.

Key Responsibilities include:

Ensuring works are completed to client schedule or schedule determined by company (dependant on scope of works).

Managing your own workload.

To understand scope of works and prepare standard rate card quotes for submission to client.

Generate supplier purchase orders in timely manner.

Co-ordinate and plan work to meet programmes dates.

Releasing, staging and shipment of IT hardware, as necessary.

Request additional network ports via Verizon, as necessary.

Ensure works are completed to correct standard and arrange remedial actions, as necessary.

Carry out billing of works on completion.

Manage own internal financial processes (e.g. creating/managing supplier Purchase Orders, providing forecast information etc.)

Work with multiple client stakeholders and suppliers.

Provide reporting on works, as necessary.

Complete ad hoc duties/tasks allocated by line management as and when required.

Requirements:

Must have Retail IT delivery experience.

Strong organisational skills and time management.

Works well under pressure.

Good stakeholder management.

Able to work independently.
