Monarch are working with a leading utilities company, based in the East Midlands, that are recruiting for an IT Project Manager on an initial 12 month fixed term contract. They work on a hybrid working arrangement with 2-3 days on site. The salary is £55,000- £60,000.
You will be responsible for successfully managing and delivering projects in line with their agreed governance structure from set up, through delivery and up to project closure.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
Manage a portfolio of projects
Track project costs, and benefits with agreed Business Owners
Ensure all projects are governed by PMO, and adhered too
Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders, understanding their motivations and drivers
Perform RAID management
Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
The essential skills required:
At least 5 years experience of delivering projects
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Able to motivate others and lead change
Able to challenge constructively
Excellent planning and organisation skills
Good understanding of multiple change management methodologies
Able to use relevant software, e.g. MS Project, Jira Good understanding of UAT, testing and development Resilient
