We are currently recruiting for a C++ Game Developers to join a cross functional team developing high quality games across their retail platforms.

You will be producing functional and operable code working alongside other departments to produce and deliver high quality, graphically rich games. We are looking for someone who has developed solutions with C++ and Visual Studio, any experience with STL/Boost, and XML would be advantageous.

The company are adopting a hybrid working pattern and offering 2 days per week working from home. The office is in the centre of Burton, close to public transport links and also offers ample parking.

Key Requirements

Previous experience in development with C++ (ideally C++11)

Experience with Visual Studio

Source Control SVN with Git ideally

Ability to work in high pressure environments

Excellent organisation and time management skills

Knowledge of the software development lifecycle.

Nice to have

Knowledge of STL or Boost

Experience with XML

Previous experience working in an Agile environment

Knowledge of other languages

Experience with DirectX9

Relevant qualification (degree)
