Developer Team Lead (C#, Azure, Microservices)
We are looking for a polyglot software developer with 10+ years of experience who specialises in C# development for the Azure Cloud and has experience leading the design and development of these applications. To start in January for 6 months paying c£600 - £700 per day, in scope of IR35.
You will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to understand value, develop and deliver innovative solutions. You will work in a Scrum environment delivering high-quality work to the standards of the Definition of Done, and for committing to work and being responsible in recognising areas that need improvement.
Title: Developer Team Lead (C#, Azure, Microservices).
Location: Remote/Hybrid or office in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
Rate: £600 - £700 pd in scope of IR35
Start: January 2023
Duration: 6 months.
About you. It goes without saying you have in-depth and proven experience as a C# Azure Microservices Developer and Team Leader with strong, clear communication skills, good problem-solving ability, able to create innovative solutions and think creatively in a complex environment.
Software team lead - leading a team of developers and coaching on best practices and techniques for crafting high-quality code.
Comfortable prescribing, documenting, and driving the adoption of Coding Standards.
Has worked in an Agile SCRUM team and is familiar with the associated ceremonies and artefacts.
Has 5+ Years of C# as their primary language.
Strong appreciation for Object Orientation and designing good quality / well-designed code
Routinely practices TDD and a Unit Test first approach to their development.
Routinely practices designing code that adheres to the principles of SOLID and DRY.
Has built and can confidently discuss an application built to use one or more of the following AzurePaaS Services:
Azure Service Bus.
Azure API Management (APIM).
Azure Logic Apps.
Azure Data Factory.
Understands and can build or change tables and stored procedures written in SQL (in a Relational Database system).
Nice to haves:
Experience in building APIs with Swagger or OpenAPI.
Written CI/CD, build and deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or YML.
Automated Testing of APIs using, for example, Postman.
