This well-established organisation requires a driven and self-motivated Test Team Lead to join their busy testing team and motivate those around them. The key to this role is recruiting, leading, mentoring, and supporting the performance of the system tester. You will be involved in designing and implementing best practice processes and techniques to deliver high quality software. Energy industry experience is essential for this role.

The current vacancy is for an innovative IT solutions organisation who are looking for a Test Team Lead to ensure a culture of high performance. Ideally you will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in similar roles and experience working within the Energy market. You will have strong experience working in a Test Team Lead role with excellent leadership skills within a results-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Test Team Lead:

Experience leading and motivating test teams in a result-orientated environment

Experience working in the energy sector - smart metering

Proven experience with test strategy, test planning, implementation of test automation framework and defect management

Software delivery experience to clients including release management, UAT and post-release support

ISTQB certified

Managing relationships, maintaining documentation, and dealing with multiple stakeholders

Coaching and mentoring team members

Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
