An exciting opportunity to join a manufacturing company based in Driffield as an IT Support Technician, working Monday to Friday, on an ongoing temporary contract, with the genuine opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate. You will earn up to £12.50 per hour, depending on experience, providing IT Support both remotely and on site.

You will act as the first point of contact for IT issues, aiming to provide a first time fix, or escalate issues where needed. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing efficient 1st line IT support, and liaising with a third party company where needed, to resolve a range of IT issues

Hardware support including laptops and mobile phones, and delivery and installation of equipment

Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues, and raising issues with external support

Supporting and maintaining on premise and cloud based environments

Installation of software to desktops and laptops, including anti virus

Assist with reporting, documentation and asset managementTo be successful in this position of IT Support Technician, you will be a proactive self-starter, and will have the following skills and experience:

An excellent communicator, able to work effectively as part of a team or managing your own workload

The ability to multitask and prioritise workload, and a genuine passion for technology
