Job Title: Senior Data Engineer

Compensation: £40,000 - £45,000

The difference our new Senior Data Engineer will make

As a Senior Data Engineer you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary where you will cover all aspects of data engineering and data architecture and will assist with the design and delivery of all initiatives through our Data Exploitation Campaign.

Day to day, you'll assist with designing of data storage and maintenance solutions that puts the data at the heart of our organisation, this will include owning and interacting with data warehouse and data lake solutions.

We offer flexible working to give people more options to better integrate their work and personal life, whilst ensuring that business needs are met. This role provides hybrid working arrangements with days in the office/onsite and days working from home.

Essential experience

A degree or similar in a IT related subject

An understanding of working on Data Warehousing Solutions using Kimball methodology

Knowledge of Database Architecture

Implementation of Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) flows

Good knowledge of Microsoft SSIS, Oracle Data Integrator or similar tools

Data Modelling skills

Knowledge of delivering solutions within Database Systems (SQL & NOSQL)

Some Development understanding of Data APIsYou must be a British national and be eligible/capable of achieving 'Security Check' (SC) clearance.
