My client, based in Braintree, Essex, has a proven track record of delivering high value technical services to their clients within industry throughout the UK. Their customer base is growing and they now seek another 1st Line / Help Desk Support person to join their team.
Role:
* Technical Support of an established and growing client base
* Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to EPOS systems including hardware and software
* Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of all systems
* Collaborate with all members of the IT team and other departments to ensure the EPOS systems are meeting the needs of clients and the organisation in general
* Provide IT Support / Technical Support to a growing client base via telephone, live chat. email and remote access
* Communicate with customers effectively, ensuring they are aware of your progress in solving the technical issue
* Complete technical reports
* Maintain IT / technical ticketing system
* Respond to and take ownership of the tickets assigned to you and escalate when required
Desired qualities, skills and knowledge
* Ability to work in a small team and integrate will into the surrounding business
* Able to work in a busy technical environment
* A good communicator
* A person with experience of using and / or supporting EPOS systems
* Enthusiasm with a lively can-do-attitude
* Has a background in IT administration / support
