Prince Resourcing is currently recruiting an IT Systems Administrator on behalf of our global client, within the logistics sector, offering a salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum (plus excellent benefits). This role will be based out of the UK HQ, near Stoke. This role will be on a 3-shift system of working, working earlies, days or nights.

As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be joining a small team of Systems Administrators to support customers around the world. This role will suit you if you have experience working at server/storage datacentre/comms-room level, dealing with issues through their full life cycle.

Responsibilities include:

Provide operational administration and configuration support for highly available server landscapes

Operate as second level support for trouble-shooting issues in the area of servers, storage, and network

Execute error analyses of various server systems

Monitor, configure and maintain server and storage hardware

Manage problem resolution with third party vendors (Microsoft, HPE, vmware)What you'll need:

At least 2 years' experience with systems in the Windows server and hardware environment

Experience of dealing with server/storage vendors (HPE, Dell etc)

Deep understanding of Windows Server OS

Working knowledge of virtualisation environments, storage infrastructures as well as backup solutions

Proven experience of Active Directory Services, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Management
