Joining a talented team as an IT Ops Support Technician working closely to support the Digital content team, Web Development teams and cloud-based infrastructure.  As an IT Operations Support Technician, you will respond to desktop and laptop support requests, assist in diagnostics, monitor and maintain AWS tech stack.  It is also an opportunity that can progress towards a career in DevOps.  You’ll be joining a diverse team, working in a relaxed software house environment.

As a Jr IT Ops Technician, you will be learning the new architecture, design, and development of current and future products.

You will work independently and collaboratively.  You will be articulate and have able to understand good service.  You will participate in the design and development of support services, cloud infrastructure deployments and learn other DevOp type skills.

The ideal candidate will have the motivation and technical capability to continuously learn new and emerging technologies, techniques, and soft skills while establishing credibility and trust with key stakeholders.

Desired Skills

O365 and other Microsoft productivity tools

Microsoft Automate / Apps

PC and Laptop builds. Imaging.

HTML/CSS/

Exposure to SQL (MySQL)

Can demonstrate diagnostic skills.

Basic understanding of networking principles

Understanding of Cloud technologies

Backup and monitoring

System admin

Documentation skills

ITIL

Able to work effectively and efficiently, including working to a deadline and across multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice to have skills:  Azure and AWS, Docker and Containers, Exposure to ARM templates, Cloud Formation, Terraform, DevOps Principals: Agile principles, Knowledge of JavaScript such as Angular and or React, Git and GitHub

The Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
