IT Systems Engineer, Watchfield, Hybrid, £25,000 - £32,000pa plus benefits:

One of the UK’s fastest growing IT support and cloud consultancies is looking to recruit an IT Systems Engineer (2nd Line Engineer) to join their talented team. Within this role you will be working on cloud infrastructure and supporting the fast growing number of hosted companies. There will also be hands on systems administration / technical support to external users, visiting customers to install and troubleshoot a wide range of IT hardware and software, and provide technical advice to sales teams.

About You:

You will need a keen interest and understanding of ‘cloud’ technology with technical skills that cover knowledge of system/user administration and hardware support. You will be a self-starter who is motivated and has strong client facing skills. You will need to display a high level of dedication to the role. Independence is a key feature of the correct candidate, willing to work varied hours and be on call on a rotational basis. Attention to detail and willingness to learn and progress essential. Beneficial technical skills:

* Experience of supporting/implementing O365

* Knowledge of Intune

* Server Virtualisation – preferably VMware

* Terminal Services – at least Windows Server 2008 R2

* Microsoft Exchange Server – at least Exchange 2007 but ideally 2010

* Server installation; physical and virtual Windows Server 2008 minimum

* Good troubleshooting skills

* Demonstrable good customer service

* Networking experience is desirable

* Any exposure to Solarwinds is extremely desirable
