The Job:
A superb opportunity exists for a hands-on HR Manager with the opportunity to within the Senior Management Team. Our client is looking for an experienced HR Generalist looking for their next step or HR Manager with experience working in a growing SME business.
As HR Manager you will work tirelessly in support of the Executive and Senior Management Teams to recruit, retain and develop a talented and inspired workforce, with high levels of employee engagement, in order to achieve a high-performance organisation, which will achieve the goals of the business.
Develop, implement and advise employment policies relating to the effective use of people within the business, as well as promoting excellence in best practice, through personal example and support to maximise the potential of all employees.
Maintain a highly efficient and accurate HR function that adheres to timely SLA’s, whilst remaining fully complaint to evolving employment legislation, regulatory control, third parties and corporate responsibility.
Provide pragmatic, risk adverse and commercially driven advice and support to all line managers in the delivery of the business’ people strategy.
Day to day you will deliver an all-round HR service to the business; Strategy, employee relations to include advice, support and delivery. Recruitment, performance management and appraisals, policy, analysis, benefits, reward and recognition, audit, payroll (outsourced), HR administration, systems management, reporting and best practice. You will also work closely with L & D and Training.
The Person:
3-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced HR generalist role having supported senior leaders to a degree at a strategic level, CIPD Level 5 or above ideally
Cares about the workforce, passionate about people as well as driving business performance.
Very commercially minded and pragmatic and balances the needs, welfare and commerciality of the business.
Proactive as much as capable when being re-active with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills / A natural leader
Strongly analytical and comfortable manipulating and interpreting complex sets of data
Sociable, influential, and approachable
The hours: Monday to Friday 37.5 hour working week
