WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Santander Consumer Global Services provides technological services and solutions to Santander Consumer Finance, covering the end-to-end of technology, architecture design, infrastructure management, development and integration of proprietary and third-party applications to maintenance and technological support and project management.

You will be part of Santander Auto Software, an exciting new greenfield programme currently at early stages, where we are building a brand-new, state of the art software platform and product suite that will be rolled out in 13 countries.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Senior UX/UI Designer you will be responsible for the experience and design strategy, contributing to the processes of product discovery, design and development, and collaborating with product managers and engineering teams to create quality, device agnostic user experiences and interfaces.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

• Work closely with product managers and engineering teams to find the best solution to transform an idea to a new feature.
• Build high-quality final designs and work with developers to ensure intended experiences are carried through.
• Develop wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively conceptualize and communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team and cross-cultural organization.
• Collaborate in a modern Agile environment.

EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years of experience in user-centered design solutions and product design innovation.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or another related field. Or equivalent work experience.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Fluent in English.
• Passionate about UX and usability.
• Experience with information architecture and user flows.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.)
• Empathic user-centered mindset and fine intuition for a human-machine interface.
• Experience designing reusable UX components or libraries.
• Self-motivation, and comfort with working in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Ability to take ownership of technical problems and driving solutions.

OTHERS

• The vacancies will be based on Madrid, London or Monchengladbach. In the short term there will be new locations in other European countries.
• This role is remote working first.
