Senior IT Support Engineer - York - £25-35K

A tech company based in York are looking for a Senior IT Support Engineer to join their amazing team in a second / third line capacity! This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for an all-encompassing role working with a variety of technologies and tasks!

This is a varied and interesting role where you will have the opportunity to get involved with project work, networking, 2nd line application support, liaising with vendors, automating systems wherever possible and documenting standard procedures and protocols, so there will be plenty of opportunities to develop your skills and widen your competence base.

They also have a professional development plan in place for this role so any certifications or qualifications you want to do, these guys will support you and help you get towards them! There is an opportunity to complete an ITIL V4 Foundation within the first year, and these opportunities will continue throughout your time there. They operate a hybrid working model where you can work from home up to 2 days per week!

Skills and Experience required:

Good understanding of the Microsoft Office 365 estate, Sophos central, Intune, and Mimecast.

Windows 10 & 11 troubleshooting

Public cloud experience - Azure and Office 365 expertise.

Application Support experience (CRM or ERP)

Networking experience (CISCO Meraki); firewalls, routers, switching, BGP, VPN, MPLS.

Understanding of ITIL Processes
