IT Security Manager (18-Month FTC) - £70-90K - Leeds/Hybrid

Senitor are looking for an IT Security Manager to join our client, an established technology-focused company based in Leeds, on an 18-month FTC basis. This is an exciting to join a successful organisation, as it continues to see year-on-year successes and a growing client-base predominantly within the financial sector.

Key Accountabilities:

To plan and complete all PCI DSS and ISO 27001 audits

To ensure all Penetration tests, Segmentation tests ASV and Vulnerability scans are completed

To interact with the IT department to convey Security Information and ensure it is addressed from a technical aspect if there is requirement.

Working collaboratively with CPP's Group Data Manager and Group Technical Staff to review and ensuring that all IT procedures are fit for purpose from an IT security perspective.

Influence and recommend IT Security best practise on solutions being delivered by IT.

To facilitate and manage the requirements of external and internal auditors and monitor the corrective actions against the remediation plan.

Data Protection Responsibilities:

Assist the business to ensure that CPP Group is effectively safeguarding personal data and private information, in order to build and maintain trust with our customers, employees, regulators and business partners and is responding promptly and appropriately to the exercise of data subjects' rights.

Assist with the change management efforts needed to maintain this trust for data protection at CPP Group

Required Knowledge & Experience:

Strong understanding of Information Security for businesses

Basic understanding of risk management and control frameworks

Credible knowledge of Network topologies such as WAN, LAN, Vlans, VPNs.

Knowledge of Security Networking technology, such as Firewalls, HIDS. FIM IDS/IPS etc.

Knowledge of Data Protection laws.

First class communications and interpersonal skills.
