We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced service desk manager from an MSP background with a customer facing focus to join head up the service team for my client, a well-established and rapidly expanding MSP.
My client offers a warm and welcome work environment with a tight knit team. The successful candidate will have the pleasure of joining the rapidly expanding team which operates out of a beautifully furnished office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Managing a team of 8 IT support technicians
Drive growth for the business by delivering excellent service and pushing sales
Set KPIs for the support team and ensure they are all achieved
Follow through with SLAs
Providing excellent customer service to a range of clients
Offering technical advice on a range of cloud technology issues
Provide training and mentoring to the technicians to help them reach their potential
The role is all on site, Monday to Friday and offers a salary of up to £70k DOE
The right candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
A strong background managing with in a managed service provider
A solid knowledge of modern and up to date cloud technologies
Have excellent customer focused experience
Demonstrate a strong track record of people management
Experience working in a service desk environment and have an understanding of SLAs and KPIs
A desire to shape a business and drive growth
