Our client, a market leading MSP are looking for an Infrastructure Support Engineer to join their team. If you are looking to join an innovative company with plans for future growth and modern technologies, then this could be the role for you!

We are looking for a hardworking, conscientious person with a proven track record in a previous Infrastructure role. You will ideally have at least 5 years' experience, be proactive and demonstrate the desire to develop your technical skills and create efficiency within the department. You will be involved in IT project work and be asked for recommendations to the company's infrastructure.

The role is offering hybrid working with 3 days a week based in their Liverpool office.

Role Responsibilities:

Provide Infrastructure expertise and assist in the implementation new and upgraded customer environments.

Provide technical support for both internal and external customers.

Monitor and maintain server and network performance.

Regularly engage with internal 1st and 2nd Line Support Analysts to assist with complex, escalated 3rd line support issues.

Preparation and compilation of technical documentation to support new system developments.

Ensure all processes for backups and disaster recovery are functioning efficiently.

Skills/Experience:

Previous experience in a similar Infrastructure role and a broad knowledge of IT systems, networks and infrastructure.

Windows Server (Apply online only)

LAN/WAN Infrastructures

Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP

Microsoft Exchange / Office 365

Microsoft Azure

Experience of SAN technologies

Networking (Routers, Switches and Firewalls)

Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills= Advanced experience in implementing and designing the above-mentioned technologies across single and multi-site organisations.
