To directly support the work of the Performance Team with particular reference to strategic performance support and analysis for children’s social care data and the production of statistics and reports for the Directorate and the network of agencies and partners associated with the service Key responsibilities:

* To assist with the development, management, training and maintenance of performance databases and applications and effectively manage intelligence. To develop, manage and maintain performance information from various sources in order to provide accurate and useful performance reports and comply with the requirements for statutory returns.

* To support Children’s Services in developing the use of information and intelligence to promote high standards and drive improvement

"Role Requirements" - to give yourself the maximum chance of success please try and ensure your CV addresses the following essential criteria:

* Educated to degree level or equivalent (e.g. NVQ level 4)

* Detailed knowledge of ICT equipment, and have a good understanding on the use of various software packages including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and general databases.

* Experience of data manipulation and analysis

* Experience of extracting, manipulating and analysing data for a children’s services directorate

* Experience of analysing and interpreting complex sets of data and presenting them in an accessible way to a range of audiences

* Detail experience of developing, managing and analysing performance databases plus effectively managing intelligence

* Demonstrate experience and understanding of national and local SEND agenda within Children's Services setting

* Demonstrate experience of working within a data analyst role in a local authority (or similar) setting

* Highly literate and numerate with established and effective communication, presentation and reporting skills
